Description

Savory meatballs stuffed with melted cheese and wrapped in crispy bacon, baked to perfection for a rich and satisfying appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Take a small portion of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand.
  4. Place a pinch of mozzarella cheese in the center and wrap the meat around it to form a ball.
  5. Wrap each meatball with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Place the wrapped meatballs seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning once, until bacon is crispy and meatballs are cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use thick-cut bacon for extra crispiness.
  • Cheddar or pepper jack cheese can be substituted for mozzarella.
  • Serve with dipping sauces like marinara or barbecue sauce.
