Description

A creamy, cheesy baked spaghetti casserole layered with tender pasta, seasoned meat sauce, and a rich cream cheese mixture, baked until bubbly and golden.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  6. Spread half of the spaghetti in a greased baking dish.
  7. Layer cream cheese mixture evenly over the spaghetti.
  8. Add remaining spaghetti, then top with meat sauce.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

  • Use ground turkey for a lighter version.
  • Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
