Description
A creamy, cheesy baked spaghetti casserole layered with tender pasta, seasoned meat sauce, and a rich cream cheese mixture, baked until bubbly and golden.
Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Spread half of the spaghetti in a greased baking dish.
- Layer cream cheese mixture evenly over the spaghetti.
- Add remaining spaghetti, then top with meat sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
