Description

Bang Bang Salmon is a bold and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets coated in a creamy, spicy-sweet bang bang sauce made with mayonnaise, sriracha, and sweet chili sauce. It’s quick, easy, and packed with flavor—perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place salmon fillets on the prepared sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Meanwhile, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice in a bowl until smooth.
  5. Remove salmon from oven and spoon bang bang sauce generously over each fillet.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil salmon for 1–2 minutes after adding the sauce.
  • You can also pan-sear salmon instead of baking for a faster meal.
  • Pairs perfectly with rice, noodles, or a fresh salad.
