Description
Succulent beef tips simmered to perfection and tossed with tender cheese ravioli in a luxurious garlic butter sauce — a rich, comforting dish ideal for special dinners or cozy nights in.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef tips or sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 9 oz cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the cheese ravioli according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add beef tips and season with salt and pepper. Sear until browned on all sides, about 4–5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in beef broth and heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the sauce becomes smooth and velvety.
- Return the cooked beef tips to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add the cooked ravioli and gently fold everything together. Cook for another 1–2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.
Notes
- For extra depth of flavor, deglaze the pan with a splash of red wine before adding beef broth.
- Use mushroom ravioli for an earthy variation.
- If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of pasta water or broth to loosen it.
- Pair with garlic bread or a crisp green salad for a complete meal.
