Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice.
  2. Add brown sugar and Dijon mustard, whisking until fully dissolved.
  3. Stir in garlic, black pepper, smoked paprika, rosemary, thyme, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Place steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
  5. Pour marinade over steak, ensuring it is fully coated.
  6. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably 8–12 hours.
  7. Remove steak from marinade and let rest at room temperature for 20 minutes before cooking.
  8. Cook steak using preferred method and discard used marinade.

Notes

  • Best suited for ribeye, sirloin, flank, or strip steaks.
