Description

Buffalo Chicken Pasta Bake is a spicy, cheesy comfort food favorite that combines tender chicken, zesty buffalo sauce, creamy cheese, and perfectly baked pasta. It’s the ultimate crowd-pleasing casserole for game day, weeknight dinners, or potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing dish)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add shredded chicken to the sauce mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Stir in the cooked pasta and half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Mix until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining cheeses and sprinkle crumbled blue cheese if desired.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with melted cheese on top.
  8. Remove from oven and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve warm with extra buffalo or ranch sauce on the side.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • Adjust the buffalo sauce amount depending on your spice preference.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
