Buffalo Chicken Pasta Bake is a spicy, cheesy comfort food favorite that combines tender chicken, zesty buffalo sauce, creamy cheese, and perfectly baked pasta. It’s the ultimate crowd-pleasing casserole for game day, weeknight dinners, or potlucks.
Ingredients
- 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1 cup buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing dish)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Add shredded chicken to the sauce mixture and toss to coat evenly.
- Stir in the cooked pasta and half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining cheeses and sprinkle crumbled blue cheese if desired.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with melted cheese on top.
- Remove from oven and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve warm with extra buffalo or ranch sauce on the side.

- Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
