Description

Cajun Turkey Avocado Wraps are flavorful, protein-packed wraps filled with seasoned turkey, creamy avocado, fresh vegetables, and a zesty sauce, all rolled in a soft tortilla for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups cooked turkey breast, sliced or shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the cooked turkey with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and warm the seasoned turkey for 3–4 minutes until heated through.
  3. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise or Greek yogurt with lime juice, salt, and pepper to create a simple sauce.
  4. Lay the flour tortillas flat and spread a thin layer of the sauce over each one.
  5. Layer lettuce, tomato, red onion, seasoned turkey, avocado slices, and shredded cheese in the center of each tortilla.
  6. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly to form a wrap.
  7. Slice in half and serve immediately, or wrap tightly in foil for later.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken for turkey if preferred.
  • Add crispy bacon for extra flavor and texture.
  • For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños or extra Cajun seasoning.
  • Use whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas as desired.
