Cajun Turkey Avocado Wraps are flavorful, protein-packed wraps filled with seasoned turkey, creamy avocado, fresh vegetables, and a zesty sauce, all rolled in a soft tortilla for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups cooked turkey breast, sliced or shredded
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large avocado, sliced
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, shredded
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the cooked turkey with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and warm the seasoned turkey for 3–4 minutes until heated through.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise or Greek yogurt with lime juice, salt, and pepper to create a simple sauce.
- Lay the flour tortillas flat and spread a thin layer of the sauce over each one.
- Layer lettuce, tomato, red onion, seasoned turkey, avocado slices, and shredded cheese in the center of each tortilla.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly to form a wrap.
- Slice in half and serve immediately, or wrap tightly in foil for later.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken for turkey if preferred.
- Add crispy bacon for extra flavor and texture.
- For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños or extra Cajun seasoning.
