Description

These Caramel Apple Truffles are sweet, creamy, and bursting with cozy fall flavor. Made with tangy apple, buttery caramel, and smooth white chocolate, they deliver all the taste of caramel apples in bite-sized, indulgent truffles perfect for the autumn season.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (100g) dried apples, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) caramel sauce or melted soft caramels
  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups (170g) graham cracker crumbs or vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 12 oz (340g) white chocolate or white candy melts
  • Optional garnish: drizzle of caramel sauce, crushed graham crumbs, or sea salt

Instructions

  1. Finely chop dried apples and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, caramel sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in graham cracker crumbs and chopped dried apples until the mixture holds together.
  4. Cover and chill for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. Dip chilled truffles into melted white chocolate, coating completely, and place back on parchment.
  8. Drizzle with caramel sauce or sprinkle crushed graham crackers or sea salt on top if desired.
  9. Refrigerate until set, about 20 minutes.
  10. Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

  • Use soft, chewy dried apples for best texture.
  • For extra caramel flavor, swirl a little caramel into the center before rolling the truffles.
  • These make great edible gifts—package them in mini candy cups or boxes.
  • Substitute milk or dark chocolate if you prefer a richer flavor.
