Description

A comforting one-pan Cheesy Beef Lasagna Skillet featuring seasoned ground beef, tender pasta, rich tomato sauce, and plenty of melted cheese—all the flavor of classic lasagna without the layering.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic; cook 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour in marinara sauce and beef broth, then add broken lasagna noodles.
  4. Stir well, bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15–18 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
  5. Dollop ricotta over the skillet, then sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan on top.
  6. Cover again for 2–3 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute Italian sausage for part of the beef for extra flavor.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms to increase vegetables.
