Description
A rich and creamy Cheesy Garlic Spinach Beef Alfredo made with tender ground beef, fresh spinach, and fettuccine pasta tossed in a homemade garlic Alfredo sauce loaded with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2–3 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter, heavy cream, and milk to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the Alfredo sauce.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
- You can replace ground beef with grilled chicken or Italian sausage.
- Add mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
- If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of pasta water to loosen it.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
