Description

A rich and creamy Cheesy Garlic Spinach Beef Alfredo made with tender ground beef, fresh spinach, and fettuccine pasta tossed in a homemade garlic Alfredo sauce loaded with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2–3 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter, heavy cream, and milk to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce thickens.
  7. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the Alfredo sauce.
  8. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
  • You can replace ground beef with grilled chicken or Italian sausage.
  • Add mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of pasta water to loosen it.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
