Description
A hearty and comforting dish made with tender potatoes, smoked sausage, ranch seasoning, and melted cheese baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds baby red potatoes, cut into bite-sized chunks
- 12 ounces smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine potatoes, olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Spread potatoes evenly in the prepared baking dish and bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway.
- Remove from oven, add smoked sausage slices, and stir to combine. Return to oven and bake for another 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top. Bake for an additional 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, drizzle with ranch dressing before serving.
- Use Yukon gold potatoes for a creamier texture.
- This dish can also be made in a cast-iron skillet for crispier edges.
