Description

A creamy and comforting baked casserole made with tender chicken, spaghetti, cheese, and a flavorful sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and bell pepper until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, mix soups, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir in cooked spaghetti, shredded chicken, sautéed vegetables, and 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese.
  6. Transfer mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute cream of mushroom or chicken soup with homemade white sauce if preferred.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • For extra spice, add jalapeños or more chili flakes.
