Description

A comforting and simple dish of tender chicken served with buttered egg noodles, perfect for a hearty family meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C). Remove and let rest.
  3. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain well.
  4. Toss hot noodles with butter, parsley, and Parmesan cheese (if using).
  5. Slice chicken and serve over buttered noodles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, deglaze the skillet with chicken broth or white wine after cooking the chicken and drizzle over noodles.
