Decadent brownie bombs stuffed with edible chocolate chip cookie dough, coated in chocolate for a rich, bite-sized dessert treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 batch baked brownies, cooled and crumbled (about 9×9 pan)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 cups melting chocolate or chocolate candy coating


Instructions

  1. Prepare the edible cookie dough: Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  2. Mix in the milk and vanilla.
  3. Add the heat-treated flour and salt; stir until a dough forms.
  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Roll the cookie dough into small balls (about 1 teaspoon each) and freeze for 20 minutes.
  6. In a separate bowl, crumble the baked brownies until they resemble a sticky dough.
  7. Take a small handful of brownie crumbs, flatten it, and wrap it around a frozen cookie dough ball, forming a smooth brownie bomb.
  8. Repeat until all dough balls are wrapped, then freeze the brownie bombs for 15 minutes.
  9. Melt the chocolate coating according to package directions.
  10. Dip each chilled brownie bomb into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  11. Place on parchment paper and allow to set completely before serving.

Notes

  • Heat-treat raw flour by microwaving it for 1 minute or baking at 350°F for 5 minutes.
  • Decorate with sprinkles before the chocolate sets for a festive look.
