- 1 batch baked brownies, cooled and crumbled (about 9×9 pan)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 cups melting chocolate or chocolate candy coating
Instructions
- Prepare the edible cookie dough: Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the milk and vanilla.
- Add the heat-treated flour and salt; stir until a dough forms.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Roll the cookie dough into small balls (about 1 teaspoon each) and freeze for 20 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, crumble the baked brownies until they resemble a sticky dough.
- Take a small handful of brownie crumbs, flatten it, and wrap it around a frozen cookie dough ball, forming a smooth brownie bomb.
- Repeat until all dough balls are wrapped, then freeze the brownie bombs for 15 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate coating according to package directions.
- Dip each chilled brownie bomb into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
- Place on parchment paper and allow to set completely before serving.
Notes
- Heat-treat raw flour by microwaving it for 1 minute or baking at 350°F for 5 minutes.
- Decorate with sprinkles before the chocolate sets for a festive look.
