Description
A soft and fluffy cake swirled with buttery cinnamon sugar and topped with a sweet glaze, combining the flavors of classic cinnamon rolls in an easy-to-make dessert.
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 5 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add milk, eggs, and vanilla, mixing until combined. Stir in melted butter.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of cinnamon mixture over the cake batter and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- For glaze: whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over warm cake and serve.

- Best served warm, straight from the oven.
