Description

Crab Stuffed Cheddar Bay Biscuits are soft, cheesy biscuits filled with a rich crab mixture and brushed with buttery garlic seasoning, making them a decadent appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 box Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces lump crab meat, picked over
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, prepare the biscuit dough using the biscuit mix, milk, and shredded cheddar according to package directions.
  4. Scoop a portion of biscuit dough, flatten slightly, and place a spoonful of crab filling in the center.
  5. Wrap the dough around the filling and seal well.
  6. Place stuffed biscuits seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 14–16 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Mix melted butter with dried parsley and brush over warm biscuits.
  9. Serve warm.
