Description
Savory and festive stuffing balls made with ground turkey, cranberries, herbs, and classic stuffing flavors—perfect as a holiday appetizer or side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 3 cups prepared stuffing (or 3 cups dry stuffing mix moistened per package)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, sauté the chopped onions and celery in a little butter until softened, about 5 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, prepared stuffing, dried cranberries, sautéed vegetables, egg, parsley, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined.
- Form the mixture into balls about the size of golf balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush lightly with melted butter.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve warm with gravy or cranberry sauce.
Notes
- Use leftover Thanksgiving stuffing for extra flavor.
- Add chopped pecans for texture.
- Make ahead and freeze—reheat in the oven before serving.
