Description

Juicy chicken breasts stuffed with a creamy mixture of cream cheese, broccoli, and cheese, then baked until tender and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, finely chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Toothpicks (for securing chicken)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Using a sharp knife, cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast without cutting all the way through.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.
  4. Stuff each chicken breast with the broccoli cream cheese mixture and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Rub the outside of the chicken with olive oil and season with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Place the stuffed chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove toothpicks before serving and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Finely chopping the broccoli helps it cook evenly inside the chicken.
  • You can substitute cheddar with mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese.
  • For extra flavor, sear the stuffed chicken in a skillet for 2–3 minutes before baking.
  • Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
