Description

A rich and flavorful creamy Cajun chicken pasta made with Parmesan, garlic, and mozzarella for the perfect balance of spice and cheesiness.

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in Parmesan, mozzarella, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until sauce thickens, 3–4 minutes.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in sauce.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and stir until everything is combined and heated through.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
  • For extra richness, add a splash of cream cheese to the sauce.
  • Pairs well with garlic bread or a fresh salad.
