Description

Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Pasta is a comforting and hearty dish made with tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and pasta tossed in a rich, creamy sauce. It is perfect for a quick family dinner and pairs well with a simple green salad.

Ingredients

  • 400 g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Add broccoli during the last 2 minutes of cooking, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 5–6 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if using, mixing until the sauce becomes smooth.
  7. Add the cooked pasta, broccoli, and chicken back into the skillet. Toss until everything is evenly coated with sauce.
  8. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use milk instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra vegetables.
  • Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
