Description
A rich and flavorful creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken, crispy beef bacon, and sweet corn tossed in a garlic smoked paprika cream sauce, ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 250g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 150g beef bacon, chopped
- 1 cup corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook beef bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add butter and sauté onion until soft, about 3–4 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in corn and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Reduce heat and add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
- Return chicken and beef bacon to the pan, mixing well.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
