Description

A rich and flavorful creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken, crispy beef bacon, and sweet corn tossed in a garlic smoked paprika cream sauce, ready in just 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 250g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 150g beef bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook beef bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add butter and sauté onion until soft, about 3–4 minutes.
  5. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Stir in corn and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  8. Reduce heat and add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  9. Return chicken and beef bacon to the pan, mixing well.
  10. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  11. Adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

  • Use turkey or beef bacon for a halal-friendly option.
  • Do not overcook chicken to keep it juicy.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra vegetables.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan gives the best flavor.
