Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and milk, bring to a gentle simmer, and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese and whisk until melted and smooth.
  5. Add crab meat and lemon juice. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Toss cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh or canned lump crab meat for best results.
  • Do not overcook the crab meat—add it at the end to keep it tender and sweet.
  • Can substitute fettuccine with linguine or spaghetti.
