Description
A luxurious creamy garlic butter seafood dish featuring tender lobster and juicy shrimp in a rich, velvety sauce—perfect for special occasions or indulgent dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 lobster tails, shells removed and meat chopped
- 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup seafood or chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add lobster pieces and cook for 3–4 minutes until just opaque, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining butter and sauté onion until soft, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in broth and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Reduce heat and add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Return lobster and shrimp to the skillet and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes until heated through and coated in sauce.
- Add lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
Notes
- Do not overcook lobster and shrimp to keep them tender.
- Fresh seafood provides the best flavor, but frozen can be used if properly thawed.
- Add a splash of white wine for extra richness.
- Adjust seasoning and garlic to taste.
