- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese (optional for extra creaminess)

Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Whisk in flour to create a roux and cook for 30 seconds.
- Slowly pour in milk or cream while whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce begins to thicken.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Add cream cheese if using and stir until smooth.
- Cook for another minute, then remove from heat. Adjust seasoning as desired.
- Use immediately as a pizza base sauce or let cool for dipping.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, simmer longer or add extra Parmesan cheese.
- Use heavy cream for a richer flavor or milk for a lighter version.
- This sauce pairs perfectly with chicken, spinach, and mushroom pizzas.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently before use.
