- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken or seafood broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Sauté the onion until soft and translucent, about 3–4 minutes.

- Return shrimp and calamari to the pan and simmer for 3–4 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in the sauce.
- Stir in lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot with crusty bread, rice, or pasta.
Notes
- Do not overcook seafood to avoid a rubbery texture.
- Use fresh mussels and discard any that are open before cooking.
- You can substitute cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Add white wine (1/4 cup) for extra depth of flavor.
