Description

Creamy Velveeta Beef & Bowtie Pasta is a hearty, family-friendly comfort dish made with savory ground beef, tender bowtie pasta, and a rich, cheesy Velveeta sauce. It’s quick, creamy, and perfect for busy weeknights when you want a satisfying meal everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or shredded cheddar

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add diced tomatoes and mix well.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the milk and Velveeta cheese cubes. Continue stirring until the cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley or extra cheese if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Add sautéed bell peppers, spinach, or peas for extra nutrition.
  • Use evaporated milk instead of regular milk for a richer sauce.
