Ingredients
- 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 10 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley or shredded cheddar
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until fragrant and translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add diced tomatoes and mix well.
- Lower the heat and stir in the milk and Velveeta cheese cubes. Continue stirring until the cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley or extra cheese if desired.
