Description

Crispy breaded chicken cutlets topped with whipped feta and finished with a drizzle of spicy hot honey for a savory-sweet dish full of bold flavors.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded thin)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp milk or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Set up breading station: one bowl with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, then coat in breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/74°C internal temperature). Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a food processor, whip feta, cream cheese, olive oil, and milk until creamy.
  5. Spread whipped feta over crispy chicken cutlets.
  6. Drizzle generously with hot honey.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, bake breaded chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 20–22 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Make your own hot honey by simmering honey with red pepper flakes.
  • Pairs well with roasted vegetables, salad, or rice.
