Ingredients
- 4 cups cucumbers, sliced
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Wash and slice the cucumbers into thin rounds.
- Place the cucumbers in a large mixing bowl and add the sliced red onion.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled cooked bacon.
- Pour the ranch dressing over the mixture.
- Season with salt and black pepper and add fresh dill if using.
- Toss everything together until well coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to combine.
- Stir gently before serving and garnish with extra bacon or dill if desired.
Notes
- For best texture, use firm fresh cucumbers such as English or Persian cucumbers.
- If using regular cucumbers, you may want to remove some seeds to reduce excess water.
