Ingredients
- 300 g ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan or shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Remove excess fat if needed.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened, then stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add butter and let it melt, mixing well with the beef and aromatics.
- Stir in rice, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper, coating the rice with the mixture.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–18 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top and cover for a few minutes until melted.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

- Use long-grain rice for best texture.
- You can add vegetables like peas, carrots, or spinach.
