Description

Golden Parmesan Pork Chops are juicy pan-seared pork chops coated in a crispy Parmesan crust, delivering a rich, savory flavor with a golden exterior and tender interior.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
  3. In another bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Dip each pork chop into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Press the pork chops into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  6. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. Add the coated pork chops and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F / 63°C).
  8. Remove from the skillet and let the pork chops rest for 3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, press the coating firmly onto the pork chops before cooking.
  • A cast iron skillet works best for achieving a deep golden crust.
  • You can substitute panko breadcrumbs for a lighter, crunchier texture.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
