Holiday Magic Cheesy Chicken Bake is a comforting, festive casserole made with tender chicken, creamy sauce, and layers of melted cheese — perfect for family gatherings or holiday dinners.
Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked pasta, vegetables, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stir in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese into the mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheeses and sprinkle Parmesan on top.
- If desired, mix melted butter with breadcrumbs and sprinkle over the top for extra crunch.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
