Description

Holiday Magic Cheesy Chicken Bake is a comforting, festive casserole made with tender chicken, creamy sauce, and layers of melted cheese — perfect for family gatherings or holiday dinners.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked pasta, vegetables, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Stir in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese into the mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining cheeses and sprinkle Parmesan on top.
  6. If desired, mix melted butter with breadcrumbs and sprinkle over the top for extra crunch.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
