Keto Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Stuffed Cabbage is a bold, low-carb dish featuring tender cabbage leaves filled with spicy Cajun-seasoned shrimp, sausage, and creamy goodness—perfect for a satisfying keto-friendly meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head green cabbage
  • 8 oz raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Carefully remove cabbage leaves and blanch for 2–3 minutes until pliable. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add sausage and cook until lightly browned.
  5. Add onion and celery; sauté until softened.
  6. Stir in garlic, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook for 1 minute.
  7. Add chopped shrimp and cook until just pink.
  8. Pour in heavy cream and stir until combined. Remove from heat.
  9. Mix in shredded cheese.
  10. Spoon filling onto cabbage leaves and roll tightly.
  11. Place stuffed cabbage rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
  12. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes until heated through.
  13. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

  • Do not overcook shrimp to avoid rubbery texture.
