Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup candy-coated chocolates (like M&M’s)
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips, candy-coated chocolates, and chopped peanuts.
  7. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart.
