- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup candy-coated chocolates (like M&M’s)
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, candy-coated chocolates, and chopped peanuts.
- Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are slightly soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Do not overbake — cookies will firm up as they cool.
- For extra peanut flavor, use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy.
- Swap candy-coated chocolates for peanut butter cups or toffee bits for variation.
