Description

Mini Cinnamon Rolls are bite-sized, soft, and fluffy pastries swirled with a buttery cinnamon-sugar filling and topped with a sweet vanilla glaze. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a quick dessert, these mini treats deliver all the flavor of classic cinnamon rolls in a fun, snackable size.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed) or 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease or line a mini muffin pan with parchment liners.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry or crescent dough on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Brush melted butter evenly over the dough.
  4. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sprinkle evenly over the buttered dough.
  5. Starting from the long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Slice into 1/2-inch pieces.
  6. Place each mini roll into the muffin pan and bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  7. While rolls bake, make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  8. Allow rolls to cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add chopped pecans or raisins before rolling the dough.
  • If using homemade dough, chill before slicing for cleaner rolls.
  • Best served warm; store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
