A creamy and hearty pasta dish combining tender chicken, smoky bacon, melted Monterey Jack cheese, and spaghetti tossed in a rich, savory sauce.
Ingredients
- 300 g spaghetti
- 2 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 0.5 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Add cooked chicken and bacon, then simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add the cooked spaghetti and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Remove from heat, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
- Grilled chicken adds extra flavor if available.
- You can add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms for more texture.
- Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
