A creamy and hearty pasta dish combining tender chicken, smoky bacon, melted Monterey Jack cheese, and spaghetti tossed in a rich, savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 300 g spaghetti
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  6. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  7. Add cooked chicken and bacon, then simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  8. Stir in Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  9. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
  10. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Grilled chicken adds extra flavor if available.
  • You can add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms for more texture.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
