Description
A light and creamy no-bake orange creamsicle cheesecake with a graham cracker crust, tangy orange flavor, and whipped topping for a refreshing dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 1 box (3 oz) orange gelatin (Jell-O)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 1/2 cup mandarin orange segments (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
- Dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water. Let cool to room temperature (do not let it set).
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract and orange zest.
- Gently fold in cooled gelatin mixture, then fold in whipped cream until fully combined.
- Pour mixture over prepared crust and smooth the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
- Garnish with mandarin oranges or extra whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger orange flavor, add a few drops of orange extract.
- Best made a day ahead to allow flavors to develop.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
