Description

Crispy Parmesan-crusted chicken breasts served with a rich and creamy garlic sauce for a flavorful and comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up breading station: flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and a mixture of panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in the third.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/74°C). Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth and thickened.
  8. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

  • Pairs well with mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
  • You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
