Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Italian style)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and mix Parmesan cheese with breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  3. Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip into eggs, then coat thoroughly with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
