Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
- In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Press each chicken breast into the Parmesan mixture to coat evenly.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmering until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
