Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Press each chicken breast into the Parmesan mixture to coat evenly.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmering until the sauce thickens.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
