Description

Peppermint Espresso Martinis are a festive holiday cocktail featuring bold espresso, smooth vodka, rich coffee liqueur, and a refreshing hint of peppermint—perfect for seasonal celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (Kahlúa)
  • 1 oz fresh espresso, cooled
  • 1/2 oz peppermint schnapps
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Ice
  • Crushed candy canes (for rim)
  • Whipped cream (optional topping)
  • Mini candy cane (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Rim the edge of a martini glass with simple syrup, then dip into crushed candy canes. Set aside.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, peppermint schnapps, and simple syrup if using.
  4. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until chilled and frothy.
  5. Strain into the prepared martini glass.
  6. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a mini candy cane if desired.
