Description
Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are bite-sized, cheesy bread rolls stuffed with pepperoni, mozzarella, and pizza sauce, baked until golden and perfect for snacking or entertaining.
Ingredients
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet or grease a muffin tin.
- Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches wide.
- Place 1 tsp pizza sauce in the center of each biscuit. Add 2–3 pepperoni slices and 1 tbsp mozzarella cheese.
- Fold edges of dough over filling and pinch to seal tightly, forming a ball. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet or in muffin tin.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Brush mixture over the tops of each dough ball.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Make sure to pinch dough well to avoid cheese leaking during baking.
- You can substitute biscuit dough with pizza dough if preferred.
- Fillings can be customized with cooked sausage, bell peppers, or mushrooms.
- Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
