Description

A sweet and savory party favorite made with creamy cheese, crushed pineapple, crunchy pecans, and a hint of sweetness, perfect for serving with crackers or fresh fruit.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until well combined.
  3. Fold in the drained crushed pineapple until evenly distributed.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball using clean hands or plastic wrap.
  5. Roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans until fully coated.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  7. Serve chilled with crackers, pretzels, or sliced fruit.

Notes

  • Drain the pineapple very well to prevent a watery cheese ball.
  • Can be made up to 24 hours in advance.
  • Walnuts can be used instead of pecans if desired.
