Description
Sweet, tangy, and savory meatballs simmered in a festive cranberry-barbecue sauce—perfect for quick holiday appetizers or potlucks.
Ingredients
- 1 bag (26 oz) frozen meatballs, fully cooked
- 1 can (14 oz) jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan or slow cooker, combine cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, orange juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Add the frozen meatballs and stir to coat them evenly in the sauce.
- Stovetop: Simmer over medium-low heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Slow cooker: Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
- Once heated through and the sauce has thickened, serve warm.
Notes
- Use spicy barbecue sauce for a kick.
- Add 1–2 tbsp brown sugar if you prefer a sweeter sauce.
- Great served with toothpicks for parties or over rice for a meal.
