Description

Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole is a creamy, comforting family favorite made with tender shredded chicken, a rich sauce, and a buttery Ritz cracker topping. It’s an easy weeknight dinner that’s both hearty and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 sleeves Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until the crumbs are coated.
  5. Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly around the edges.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
