Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 sleeves Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until the crumbs are coated.
- Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly around the edges.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
