Description
A rich and indulgent homemade ice cream loaded with chunks of edible cookie dough, Snickers, and Reese’s for the ultimate sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup edible cookie dough (store-bought or homemade, egg-free)
- 1/2 cup chopped Snickers bars
- 1/2 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until sugar dissolves.
- Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions until thick and creamy.
- During the last 5 minutes of churning, add in chunks of cookie dough, chopped Snickers, and Reese’s.
- Transfer ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Scoop and serve topped with extra candy pieces if desired.
Notes
- If you don’t have an ice cream maker, whip heavy cream, fold in sweetened condensed milk and flavorings, then mix in candy and cookie dough before freezing.
- Use mini Snickers and Reese’s for easier mixing.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
