Description

A rich and satisfying pasta dish featuring tender steak slices over creamy Alfredo spaghetti infused with roasted red peppers and Parmesan cheese, offering a luxurious yet comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove from pan and let rest, then slice thinly.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Whisk in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Add chopped roasted red peppers and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to combine.
  8. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the Alfredo sauce, coating evenly.
  9. Top with sliced steak and garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
  10. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best creamy texture.
  • Allow steak to rest before slicing to retain its juices.
  • You can substitute fettuccine or linguine for spaghetti if preferred.
