Description

A rich and satisfying pasta dish featuring tender steak slices, spaghetti, and broccoli crowns tossed in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce—perfect for a hearty dinner.

Ingredients

  • 250g spaghetti
  • 300g steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli crowns
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Blanch broccoli crowns in boiling water for 2–3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper and sear for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and sauté onion until soft, about 3 minutes.
  5. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat and add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Stir until smooth.
  8. Add cooked spaghetti and broccoli to the sauce, tossing to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  9. Return steak to the skillet and toss gently to combine.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overcook steak to keep it tender.
  • You can substitute broccoli with spinach or asparagus.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
  • Add mushrooms for extra depth and richness.
