Ingredients

  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 4–5 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and chicken broth; stir to combine.
  5. Add pasta to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  6. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.
