Ingredients
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 4–5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and chicken broth; stir to combine.
- Add pasta to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.
