Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 24 mini crackers or toasted baguette slices
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Garlic Dip:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Add shrimp to the marinade and let sit for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and glazed.
  4. Arrange mini crackers or baguette slices on a serving platter.
  5. Place one shrimp on each cracker and spoon a small amount of extra glaze on top.
  6. Mix all garlic dip ingredients in a small bowl until smooth.
  7. Garnish shrimp bites with cilantro and serve with the garlic dip.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, lightly toast crackers or baguette slices before topping.
  • Add crushed red pepper to the glaze for more heat.
