Description
These Ultimate Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs with a Twist are soft, golden rolls stuffed with gooey melted cheese and brushed with rich garlic herb butter. The ‘twist’ comes from a hint of spice and a touch of parmesan in the dough, giving each bite irresistible flavor and texture.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8-count) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 8 small mozzarella cheese cubes (or string cheese pieces)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy twist)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a muffin pan.
- Flatten each biscuit slightly and place one mozzarella cube in the center.
- Fold the dough around the cheese, pinching edges to seal, and shape into a smooth ball.
- Place balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, Parmesan, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper.
- Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the tops of the dough balls.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from oven and immediately brush with remaining garlic butter. Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy pull!
Notes
- For extra cheesiness, use a blend of mozzarella and cheddar inside.
- Can be made with homemade pizza dough instead of biscuits.
- Pair with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer for a few minutes.
